Compact and low maintainance The Biochrom WPA Lightwave combines ease of use with flexibility, and the novel optics require no lid or moving parts and use a Xenon source for high energy performance with longer lamp lifetime. Compact footprint saves valuable bench space. This instrument has a 2 year warranty and the Xenon lamp has a 3 year warranty. The Lightwave II+ is a higher resolution 3nm bandwidth version.
Powerful and flexible The instrument includes a large wide view display and in-built software providing flash scan, fixed wavelength measurements, kinetics and concentration with comprehensive graphics capability plus the ability to store up to 90 methods. On peak confirmation is also a feature of the flexible software. Concentration may be measured using either a factor, singlepoint calibration, multi-standard curves or alternatively there is a multi-wavelength mode where equations using absorbance values may be used for ratio calculations. Samples may be measured in 10, 20 or 40mm pathlength cells (glass, quartz or disposable).
Flexible data export options Results may be printed to an optional integrated high quality graphical printer for a permanent record or exported via a USB connection to a suitable PC running optional Print Via Computer (PVC) software for advanced reporting and data storage or the optional wireless Bluetooth accessory. Alternatively the optional SD card accessory allows laboratories to export to standard SD or SDHC memory cards. This will be particularly useful to laboratories wishing to clone methods and folders between instruments. Please note that only one optional accessory can be fitted to the instrument.
